Come join us at the opening of Water Works @ Giant Robot 2. Here’s more info about the show:
Most Americans take tap water for granted. Although it might not taste that great, it’s drinkable. But what if it weren’t? Giant Robot is proud to host Water Works, a group art show that will benefit UNICEF’s Tap Project. The project’s goal is to get clean drinking water to those who have no access to it, and this year’s focus is on Vietnam. We are proud to join the effort, and have asked many of our talented friends to create w…ater-themed art to raise awareness and funds. In addition to the artwork, there will also be water bottles featuring labels created by artists and signed by celebrities. All proceeds of these low-priced, limited editions sold at the event will be donated to UNICEF. According to UNICEF, just $1 can support enough water for 40 kids a day. This show can make a big difference.
